Toro’s next-generation Groundsmaster® 3000 Series of out-front rotary (OFR) mowers is set to launch in 2020, but you don’t have to wait for a preview because we have all the details right here! The new mowers are the latest addition to Toro’s broad portfolio of products aimed at grounds, municipal, landscape and golf customers.

Toro’s all-new Groundsmaster 3000 Series mowers features more powerful engines, as well as enhanced operator comfort and maneuverability, user-friendly operation and simplified maintenance. Significant performance enhancements also contribute to the machine’s unique combination of productivity, durability and value.

In short, the updated design offers all the benefits out-front rotaries are known for, including superior access and trimming, optimal sight lines, easy-to-use controls and all-season versatility. Here’s what you can expect from the new Groundsmaster 3000 Series design:

Durability For Long Life And Reduced Downtime
New models are equipped with powerful Stage V-compliant 18.4 kW (24.7 hp) and 27.5 kW (37.4 hp) Yanmar® diesel engines, which make them compliant with emission standards that will be enforced in Europe starting 2021. A robust drivetrain with a proven, reliable pump and motor design working in conjunction with the engine also enhance overall performance and durability.

In addition, Toro’s legendary cutting deck features rugged cast iron spindles with dual tapered roller bearings, 6.4 mm (.25″) heat-treated blades, and a strong 7-gauge steel deck shell with side bumpers and a front bull-nose bumper to protect against damage from impacts.

Productivity To Get The Job Done Quickly
New Groundsmaster 3000 Series OFRs offer 152 cm (60″) and 183 cm (72″) cutting decks to get the job done fast, and a transport speed of 22 km/h (13.7 mph) to move between job sites efficiently. Toro’s exclusive CrossTrax® all-wheel drive system provides automatic traction control, shifting power to the wheels in slippery conditions. The large 45.4 liter (12 gal.) fuel capacity maximizes mowing time between stops to refuel. Plus, high 19.8 cm (7.8″) ground clearance makes it easy for the mowers to climb curbs and maneuver over other obstacles.

Superior operator comfort also helps boost productivity with features such as three adjustable seat options, tilt steering and an optional all-season cab enclosure to help minimize operator fatigue. A simple step allows the operator to get on and off the machine quickly. Intuitive controls are at the operator’s fingertips on the armrest console, making it simple for the operator to react to changing conditions. Additionally, the on-board InfoCenter displays service reminders, alerts, diagnostic information and more.

Outstanding Quality Of Cut
Groundsmaster 3000 Series mowers have a proven deck design that cuts consistently and disperses clippings evenly for exceptional quality of cut. Rotary and flail cutting deck options are available with side/rear discharge or rear discharge only, and the height of can be set from 2.5 cm (1″) to 15.24 cm (6″) with a quick pin adjustment.

Another feature that sets this product apart is the simple tip-up deck design, which provides easy access to the underside of the deck. This lessens both the physical effort and time required to lift the deck to an upright position for cleaning and routine maintenance.

Attachments For Year-Round Versatility
Perfect for operations that need to manage an ever-growing list of diverse tasks with increasingly limited budgets, the new Groundsmaster 3000 Series is compatible with a range of attachments for multi-season use. BOSS® plows and other snow implements, the Pro Force® debris blower, a winter cab enclosure and a factory-installed all-season cab are among the available options.
